5 Beauty Tips to Prepare for your Big Day

Happy New Year to you! If you have a wedding planned for this year, we want to take this time to congratulate you! We would also love to share with you a few things we know can only help you be more than ready and prepared for your wedding in the beauty department. If you want to ensure your beautiful canvas of a face stays in tact while planning the party of a lifetime, take a look at what we suggest you be sure to incorporate into your life.
Better Food
What you eat comes out in your skin. It is a bit cliché, but it is also true. You will exert more than expected in both time and attention. You body will take what it needs to keep you moving. Be more mindful than usual of what you are placing in your body. Food is fuel, and it will only help or hurt you.
Water
Water is great for losing weight. Aside from that, drinking a nice amount of water helps to maintain a healthy balance of fluid in your body. Being sure you have the fluids your body needs helps with digestion, circulation, and so many other things. Did we mention pretty skin? Oh…well, be sure to add that to the list.
Workout
We know first hand how hard it can be to incorporate working out into an already busy schedule. But you have to simply find a time of day that will allow you 30 minutes to dedicate to sweating. The workout itself gives you so much which includes energy and a clearer mind. Aside from all of that, have you heard about how sweating can help your skin? Sweating allows your body to release toxins and kills bacteria on your skin’s surface. Listen, you win!
No New Products
This point is based on timing. If your wedding day is quickly approaching, we suggest you do not use any new products. Sometimes when you introduce new products to your skin, you find out the hard way it wasn’t a great idea. The process to correct that wrong could be much longer and more strenuous than imagined. You do not need that type of added stress.
Rest
Nothing beats rest. The one thing you and your fiancé will need after days full of wedding talk is a quiet brain. Allowing your body to fully reset each day is beneficial and makes for a better planning journey. Your head will be clearer, which will allow you to make decisions based on what you truly want and not what you feel pressured to choose.
If you set these tips as a goal to have focusing placed specifically on you and not the wedding, although it would be for the wedding as well, the results for any progress towards them are countless.
Until next time…
be sweet & happy planning!
