We thought we would share a few tips with you on what you should look for while shopping for your wedding floral designer.
By now, we are are sure you have seen details on social media platforms, blogs, and bridal magazines to help you determine what you like and what you don’t like. At the least, those details will help with the tips below on what you should look for in potential designers. Our tips below can assist you in this journey.
The first thing you want to to do is determine and know the style of your wedding. A few style ideas are romantic, modern, preppy, and vintage. If you aren’t sure of what your wedding style is, consider your own style individually and as a couple. How do you dress? What type of artifacts are you drawn to when you decide to add décor elements to your home? What is it you enjoy most together? Now, think of how that translates in terms of your wedding.
Once you figure out your preferred style and theme, you can begin the search for the perfect designer. You want a designer who can deliver that same feel and aesthetic you are after for your wedding. If a designer produces more rustic styled weddings, but you want something more modern, they may not be the designer for you. It is possible that they can pull off what you want. However, hiring someone who specializes in what you want can give you the confidence in knowing your décor will be specifically catered to your dreams and desires.
Are you inspired when you look at their current work? Are you excited about talking with them about what you want for your wedding day? Because if you are, and you can see your wedding in their designs, you have your sights set in the right direction. You want to be careful to not hire someone simply because they can do the job. Whoever you choose to build the beauty of your wedding day dreams will need to be fully capable of taking your ideas and making them whole.
