We love the adventure that comes with every new couple we meet. No two people are the same, so no two couples are the same. So every couple presents a new exciting challenge with design, as it relates to their color scheme and the details they want to see the most. Today we are sharing how we went from dreaming with our couples and their choices in color to the reality of producing their weddings with their dream wedding day color schemes.
Tierni & Maurice

Tierni and Maurice wanted a color scheme that included black, plum, and lavender. We pulled in additional colors to compliment what she chose and followed the inspiration they shared for design. We provided options for their place settings and once they chose the one they loved the most, we had our marching orders.
Erin & DeWayne

Erin and DeWayne wanted a color scheme that included black and champagne, with greenery and gold accents. They did elaborate on the desire of ivory and blush flowers, but no abundance of color. They wanted to have very classic and muted décor. We were happy to oblige and began the process of design for them by pulling in a bridge of colors to compliment what was explained.
Najah & Jeffery

Najah and Jeffery told us their color scheme was burgundy, blush, and champagne. To enhance the colors provided, we added a light or dusty rose and gold. We decided to use the burgundy as the base, allowing the other colors to carry the rest of the design, and the groom said everything coming together while marrying his love was a dream come true. That was magical to us.
Mallard’s Croft

This event was one of our own adventures with the color wheel. We had been sitting on loads of creativity due to the shutdown of 2020 because of the cancellation of life outside (…a bit dramatic, but so was 2020!). We seriously had no other goals in mind other than this color scheme we couldn’t shake, a hand full of the vendors we had missed so much during the year of 2020, and the idea of being in Southern Bride Magazine. It was that simple. We also cannot wait to do it again.
We hope to always be inspired by our clients and the ideas they present us with for their wedding day desires. To take them from dream to reality for their wedding day is so rewarding for us, as designers. If you have been inspired by any of the details we shared, then our mission was accomplished. We look forward to the many more beautiful weddings we get to take part in producing design for.
Until next time…
be sweet & happy planning!
