Can you imagine experiencing your wedding feeling unbothered and drama-free because you hired the right wedding planning team, and are confident that they have everything covered? We can. We have been a part of making sure that has happened for every single one of our clients. We cannot tell you how much happiness it brings us to hear them share how amazing the day was for them at the end of the night. This also means they didn’t hear or witness any of the fires we put out throughout the day. (Trust us, every wedding will have a fire that will need to be put out.)

The main job of a wedding planner is to organize all of the elements of your wedding, big and small. Some people think we just walk around with clipboards and fluff flowers, and if we are doing it right that is all they should see.

We gain so much from every client we have the privilege to serve, with the greatest gift being continued relationship and the opportunity to witness their love story blossom into the beauty of growth in family.

As we do a little Sunday reflecting, we thought we would take a little time to share some thoughts with the couple who may be in the midst of planning their wedding.

During this time, there will be a ton of people who will share their opinions and even want to give you unsolicited advice. We aren't going to tell you that whoever it is that is sharing with you isn't giving you good advice, but it is quite possible that it may not apply to you and your wedding.

Now, we can’t stop the advice from pouring in, but we can give you a few tips on how you can quiet the noise. The first thing you will want to do is figure out early on what you and your fiancé alone want and stick to it. Tell people “thank you, but we got it.” Second, trust the process. The planning process can be a lengthy journey and since you can’t speed up time, you will have to allow things to work the way you plan it. Lastly, lean on your planner for understanding and education, as well as their expertise. You hired them, so listen to them.

We hope this helps. At the very least, we hope we gave you something pretty to look at as you start the planning of your approaching week.

You have to go after what attracts you. Those photos you are most drawn to, that particular style you feel you resonate with the most, this all means something and for good reason. These are the same things you want to be a part of your wedding day. The amount of joy you are meant to experience on your wedding day will be in big part to how your day is planned and the details you want included.

Determine your wedding date. Set your budget. Stalk your vendors before you retain them to be sure they are what you really want. Prioritize your top 3 must haves for your wedding. Get married, and then go live happily ever after.

There are so many good love stories, but we are glad about the ones we get to be a part of…for sure!
