Whenever we begin the dating process with potential clients, we always ask about their top 3 “must haves” for their wedding day. Kelsey and Jeff told us their top 3 must haves for wedding day were photos, food, and dancing.

As parents of the bride, my husband and I wanted to make sure that our daughter’s wedding would be the day that she had dreamed about. Early in the planning process, we met with Tish and Darius Clay of Simone Elise Events. After the initial meeting, we knew they were the ones who would help make those dreams come true. Choosing them as the full service wedding planners and event and floral designers was by far the best decision we made. Tish and Darius are professional, considerate, organized and simply a joy to work with. Their creativity and attention to detail made the planning and execution of the wedding a seamless process. Besides being excellent planners, they also have an excellent eye for design. The décor and florals were magnificent. They transformed the venue from an empty shell to a majestic ceremony space and then efficiently flipped it to a breathtaking reception space – all of it was simply gorgeous! This dynamic duo orchestrated every detail perfectly and caused the entire day to flow smoothly.

One thing that stuck out for us…
The planning of their wedding was truly a family affair, as Kelsey’s mom and dad were there every step of the way. They were intent on being sure both Kelsey and Jeff got exactly what they wanted. In any and every meeting we had, not only were the bride and groom present, but Kelsey’s parents were as well. They functioned very fluidly with communicating thoughts and ideas, and every single idea came back to what the couple wanted. It was truly heartwarming to see the family unit ebb and flow together. You don’t get that type of relationship by chance. Kelsey and Jeff are friends first, and this family allowed love to lead. Some of the best fairytales have great family connections that add to making the love story continue on forever.
We look forward to sharing love stories about as much as we love being a part of them.
