This is a wedding planning story about one of our couples’ wedding day desires, their testimonial about our services, and our takeaways from the experience.
Whenever we begin the dating process with potential clients, we always ask about their top 3 “must haves” for their wedding day. Najah and Jeffery told us their top 3 must haves for wedding day were food, florals, and dancing.
His Testimonial
Once we hired Tish and Darius as our wedding planners, we felt as if a large weight had been lifted off our shoulders. We used them for their floral/decorating services, and their planning expertise. With Tish and Darius, we finally had a team that could help us execute our vision. They worked within the confines of our budget and made sure we met each payment deadline. If anyone is thinking about not getting a wedding planner, think again. I know money is always on everyone’s mind, but it is so worth it in the end. We were mostly stress free, and didn’t have to sweat a single detail leading up to the big day. The wedding décor was amazing! We were most impressed with the aisle, the alter, and the sweetheart table. Our families are still raving about how smooth everything went and how great all the decorations looked. We loved the fact that anytime we needed anything during the wedding process, Tish and Darius were just a call or text away. We highly recommend their services!
One thing that stuck out for us…
They were lowkey silly. Najah and Jeffery were out of state during the planning of their wedding and so all of our monthly meetings took place via Zoom. The meetings were early Saturday morning meetings and most often before Jeffery got his coffee. At first, we thought Jeffery was all business and Najah was the buffer. It didn’t take long for us to recognize that that was not the case. Let’s just say they were a pleasant balance. Eventually, Jeffery let his guard down and we were all in for a treat. His participation initially in the planning was all to satisfy Najah’s type A personality. Once he was sure we were all about the business of professionalism and happiness, he let loose. There were times Najah was able to reel him in, and there were times when there was no turning back. By the time we got to wedding day, we were all in on the train dedicated to Najah’s happiness and the swell of emotion we saw pouring out of Jeffery throughout the day. They had a really special experience, and we were glad to have been a part of it.
