Have you ever attended a bridal show? If your answer is yes, then we know you know a little about what to expect. If your answer is no, then we want to provide you with ways to make the most of your attendance. You may not think it is that big of a deal, but once it is over you may hate you weren’t better prepared.
There are tons of vendors at bridal shows and they are sharing information about their services and any specials they are offering. It can be pretty easy to mix them up. It can be even easier to simply forget what they said. If you make it your agenda to stop at every vendor’s space, you could possibly overwhelm yourself. Instead, go in with a plan.

Make things easy
Have your information ready to share with vendors to avoid writing it over and over again. This way you can be more attentive to what is being shared with you instead of making sure you wrote your name legibly. You can have printouts, stickers, cards, or whatever you feel is cute enough to share. Most vendors will only need your names, email addresses, contact numbers, and wedding date.
Prepare before you go
Do your homework on what services you will need for your wedding. This way you know exactly who to look for and what you will need from the vendors you visit at the show. If you go ahead and visit those vendors you need first, you can spend the rest of your time at the show enjoying and learning about the other vendors.
After the show
Follow-up on every piece of information the vendors share with you because you could possibly find a gem. Not sure of what to make of this tip? Allow me to explain. If you had met us at a bridal show, we would have shared with you some details about the services we offer, you would have seen some of our work, and we would have provided you with some type of material with information on how to find us. If you were to visit our website, you would notice in the menu an option for our blog. We are here no less than twice a month giving away all of the secrets needed to plan a beautiful wedding. So visiting the websites of all of the vendors you spoke with can help in ways you wouldn’t have imagined.
So, there you have it. These are our tips for you to be sure you get the most out of a bridal show. You cannot go wrong if you follow these suggestions.
Until next time…
be sweet & happy planning!
